I can’t believe how much fun and how super busy I have been over the last couple of months… I see my alert that I have set to remind me to write up a blog, and then I think, yep, I have heaps of things to talk about, I will write it up after I finish this….. or this…. or this…. and then IT NEVER GETS DONE!!!! So this morning I the alert hit me, and I dropped everything…well not quite everything.. I still have my coffee…. I never drop the coffee lol.
I have been everywhere over the last few months. I had an absolutely amazing time at the Qld Spinners Camp in July at Mapleton. If you have did not make it this year, you just have to get it into your calendar for next year! When I have dates I will absolutely share them with you!
We did things a little different at Mapleton this year, there were so many mini workshops and info sessions. I even taught a beginning Tunisian crochet class, we had a blast!
Mapleton was the first outing of my first released pattern. The Squishable Cowl. I am very excited.
I got home from Mapleton on the Sunday afternoon and repacked the car on Monday and First thing Tuesday I headed off on my Journey to Bendigo.
What an amazing drive! was 1700km or there abouts to get to Bendigo. I did stop overnight, and I can tell you, if all goes well I am planning a return trip for next year! I had such a good time. And it wasn’t just the acutal Bendigo Show that was so fun, I was also staying with Charly from Ixchelbunny and Emma from SpunOut. I think I spent most of the weekend laughing!
After 2 hugely amazing events, funnily enough I had to some major restocking! All the major orders have arrived. So I am pretty well stocked up on ChiaoGoo and Nancy’s knit knacks.
My plan for getting the website up in August is slow going, but I am still moving forward….
